We recently spent a weekend at a retreat in Ninh Binh and had a fantastic time! One of the best aspects of our stay was the spacious and comfortable room. It had a really soft bed that was a welcome relief after a long day of traveling. We also loved the private porch with chairs where we could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. And let's not forget the amazing pool! It provided a perfect way to unwind and take in the breathtaking views of the hills. The location of the retreat was also ideal, with easy access to popular attractions like Trang An river boat tours. Plus, they offered free bikes to explore the beautiful area, which was a great way to immerse ourselves in the natural beauty.

While our experience overall was great, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. One of the nights during our stay, it rained heavily and our room started to leak.

You can enjoy the beautiful view from the pool, restaurant, and garden. the rooms are simple but immaculately clean, providing a comfortable stay. the staff is very attentive and happy to answer any questions. the retreat offers free bicycles, allowing you to easily explore the nearby attractions. the pool and grounds are lovely, providing a nice respite from the heat.

The pool tiles can be slippery when wet, so be careful.

The location is perfect for exploring the area, with boat rides to the caves and plenty of amazing stores nearby. The hotel is family-run, and it was heartwarming to hear about how Sam's elderly mother gets up early to buy fresh bread and supplies for the retreat. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and having access to bikes and motorcycles made getting around a breeze. The pool looked inviting, even though it was too cold to swim. Sam was also excellent in helping us arrange taxi transfers. a truly unique and enjoyable stay.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and had access to bicycles and scooter rentals. the staff was incredibly helpful and provided us with great advice on where to go and what to see. In the evenings, we loved relaxing with a cold beer and chatting with the manager and other guests. We missed this place during the rest of our trip in Vietnam!

The service was a bit unusual as we had to ask for certain items like butter with bread and milk with tea. Some guests were unsure about what to do when it came to self-service drinks.
